Veloce Global Fleet Telemetry Bus

Client: Veloce Global Logistics (Singapore)
The Engineering Challenge

Veloce required an ultra-low latency real-time telemetry pipeline to ingest, normalize, and stream location, fuel, and route data across 12,000 maritime and air freight carriers without message loss.

The Architectural Solution

We architected a distributed Apache Kafka event backbone deployed on multi-region Kubernetes clusters with zero-latency Server-Sent Events (SSE) streaming into a Next.js executive command center.

Technical Hurdles Solved

Engineered an event ingestion buffer processing over 100,000 events/second during peak logistics cycles
Configured automated multi-AZ Kafka topic partition rebalancing with zero consumer group stalls
Integrated end-to-end distributed OpenTelemetry tracing and Prometheus alerting

Verified Production Outcomes

Sub-5ms round-trip telemetry broadcast latency across global distribution hubs
Zero dropped messages across 10M+ daily carrier telemetry updates
100% uptime maintained through multi-region Kubernetes cluster failover

“Their dual-progress tracking system kept our executive board informed at every stage. The Kafka pipeline ran through peak season without a single hitch.”
